Back in 2002 my dad had an accident on a city handicap bus. They used a bunge cord to strap my dad's wheelchair down instead of a wheelchair strap. When they turned a corner his chair fell over and he broke his arm which never healed. We filed a lawsuit when it happened as it was a clear case of negligence. The other side has prolonged the case as long as they could and trial is set for Nov 15th. We are meeting with the other side the 30th of this month to see if we can settle out of court. We aren't looking to get rich but do expect to get Dr bills paid and a little something for the pain and suffering my dad went thourgh. (As this did affect his qaulity of life). Dad passed away in 2003 after another fall at home which broke his wrist on that same arm. It is all tied together because if he had not broke his arm the first time he would have had use of that arm and may not have fell the second time. Please be praying that this will be settled out of court and that we will get a fair settlement. All we want is for this to be over so we can get on with our lives....Thanks and God Bless.
