  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have done things in the past that I am incredibly ashamed and guilty of. I can't explain the sorrow that it brings me and how much it effects my everyday life. I feel like I've done things that I will never be forgiven for, instead I will be eternally ridiculed and laughed at for doing what I FREELY chose to do.

Does God really forgive every sin if we truly repent? Do I still have a shot at being equal with my fellow human beings? Can I still be a "good" human being? Do you always have hope with God no matter what?

I just really need this cleared up. I feel like I've done things that will always make me inferior to every human being.

All that matters is the person you are now. If you are a different person now, then the old you shouldn't matter. If a person judges you based on your past, then the problem lies with them, not you. As for the people who may or may have not been affected by your actions, that might take time. Just prove you are a different person, and you will be judged for who you are, not for who you were.
