In revelations, God said something about 'do not take words out of the book.' or something. What does that mean actually? Does it mean to like not teach or something else?

I don't see how referring to Joseph as Jesus' father is blasphemy. Sounds kinda nit-picking to me. Joseph may not have been Jesus biological father but that doesn't mean he wasn't Jesus' father. I don't ever recall the NIV saying that Jesus was the offsring of Joseph.

As Gerry wrote from Revelation:
Revelation 22:
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
This command may be applied to the whole of scripture, however, I believe in this referrence it is referring to this book (Revelations) only. We are being warned to not add any words to the prophesy or take any words away. God has spelled out exactly what He wants us to know.
When we don't have details of the situation I don't think it's wrong to speculate, as the pastor with the blind guy did. However, when we try to manipulate others with our speculations it is wrong.
Anyway, that's all I have to say about it.
