• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Need some encouragement please.

Hi everyone,

Sorry to be posting so many times. I feel so selfish. I really need prayers for some peace at heart and mind. Every time I get the least bit joyful, I then remind myself what I've done in the past. Then I just return to being sad and depressed. I really truely hate sinning against God. Thats the last thing I ever wan't to do. I have repented, but sometimes I feel as if I will never recieve forgiveness even if I discontinue to sin .I also seem to constantly worry and obsess over what happened in the past and what could happen in the future. Any prayers or words of encouragement will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much and God Bless.

Praying for you beloved!

"Casting all my cares upon Him, who careth for me" (I Peter 5:7). In Christ I am "care-free."

"He hath made Him to be sin for us who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" (II Corinthians 5:21).

It seems we can be very hard on ourselves because we know we don't deserve the forgiveness and grace we receive thru Christ. But this is where the enemy comes in and steals our joy and peace. Your sins were nailed to the cross and you have forgiveness when you ask, which you have. Life's journey will find us asking for forgiveness always, assured of receiving it if asked for sincerely. Jesus is ever ready with open arms and delights in our desire to serve Him, He will help you. I pray the LORD will free you from these feelings of guilt and sadness and restore unto you the joy of your salvation. John 8:36 says: "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." He doesn't take it back. Dig into the Word and go to church and I bet these feelings lessen. God bless you as you seek the LORD, how wonderful that you've accepted Him at a young age.:)
in Him, Leslie

The Lord has forgiven you when you gave your life to him. You prayed the prayer of repentance and the Lord is living in your heart. Father God, I pray for healing and peace to be brought to this young man. He has a growing passion and love for you Lord, and help this fire in him to continue to burn. Speak to his heart and his mind, help him to realize that he has been cleansed clean by the blood you shed on the cross for us so long ago. He is a child of you, a precious son, Lord God, and give him the mindset to know how dear he is to you. The enemy will try to prey on his weakness and doubt, but you Lord stand tall in the midst of controversy. Give this young man the strength to stand strong and to cast aside the doubts and fears from the past. When we are forgive Lord, you wash us clean and do not hold our past actions against us as does the world. You are a loving God, wrap your arms around this young believer and let your love fill his heart. Surround him with your children and bring a hedge of protection about him. Help him to find encouragement in his brothers and sisters, to know and realize that each of us has a past that we have been forgiven for and left behind because you Jesus. Let your blessing fall down upon him this week Lord as we await the celebration of your birth. In your name Lord, amen.

It is very hard to have things in your past that you are ashamed of. The Lord has already forgiven you because you have asked Him to. When you have that horrid condemned feeling, that is not of God, so tell God how you are feeling and ask Him for help with thinking in the way that He wants you to think, and ask Him to reveal His will for your life now. Focus on the present, on the choices you make now, in your dealings with others and the things you think about them. It is in this that learning will take place, and you will make a new life pattern, hand in hand with God.

If there are other things you need to repent of, and which are still tugging at you, allow God to reveal these to you in His own time and relax in His love, because He does love you very much.

Father God,

I pray for my brother, than he will be fully restored to you and strengthened by Your love and quietened by your peace. I pray for any feelings of guilt to leave him Lord, and I ask that you would protect his mind from attacks about the past and that he would instead focus on his journey with you in the present.

Thank you that You love us Lord.

Amen

You need to accept and believe that when you repent, your sin is covered and removed. Satan is lying to you and putting condemnation on you. The Lord does not condemn but bring conviction.

What God does with our sin!

What God does with our sin!
After we have asked for forgiveness and turned from our sin, does he accuse us? No!

Satan goes to the thrown room of God with all these accusations and charges against you - especially your past mistakes. He has a stack of cases against you that goes from the floor to the ceiling and is now going to present them to the Lord to make you guilty of your charge.

Satan goes through the entire list of your sins to the Lord and the Lord is listening to the accusations. Then the Lord takes these cases against you and goes into his chambers to make a decision. When in His chamber, he sees that you have repented, so then he opens the door and throws all these cases out because the word says when we repent, then it is forgotten as deep as the sea (Mica 7:19) or as far from the east to the west Psalm 103:12.

The Lord comes out of his chambers and satan asked what the verdict is and the Lord answers "I don't know what you are talking about."

The Lord says "This person you are accusing is "INNOCENT" because she or he is my child. I have a purpose and a plan for this person."

"This case is DISMISSED", says the Lord.

East will never meet West and that is why David says: “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103:12). Our sins have not just been taken away but they have been removed an infinite distance from us. As much as East and West cannot meet, so much we will never be confronted by them again once they have been dealt with by the Blood. When children have done something wrong, they instinctively try to hide the evidence, but it does not take long for the truth to come out and for them to be confronted by the evidence. Yet, the Lord has removed our sin so far that they will never return to haunt us.

“You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.” (Mica 7:19). At its deepest point, the sea is seven miles deep. It would be impossible to bring things up from that depth and it is so far from the light of the sun that whatever is down there will never be brought to the light. Praise the Lord; He has put our sins down in the deepest, most inaccessible place known to man! (We know, of course, that our sins are not literarily down there, but this is simply a picture to show how far removed our sins are).

“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). He takes it away – it is gone – never to be brought back, found or even remembered.

Just remember that the Lord cares so much about you. We all fall short of the Glory of God and He made a way for us through repentance. He hates sin because then the enemy has legal right. He is always there waiting and the Mercy of God is extended to us because mercy means he gives us a measure of time to make it right. Just know if you have repented, then you are no longer guilty. The enemy, the accuser, the feelings of condemnation, do NOT, come from the Lord. In John 10:10 is out to kill, steal and destroy. His job is to get you to believe you are unforgiveable so that you will separation yourself from God because you believe your sin is too big and unforgiveable. That is Satan's job.

If you have a right heart to please God, and you fall and don't like the sin that is in you according to Romans 7:17 "Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me." Then he made a way to ask for forgiveness. Ask him to strengthen you and trust his love for you. He loved you even before you were saved. It was him that drew you to him because he loves you.

Be in peace! Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Asking for prayer and encouragement is not in the least selfish. It is good that you can recognize when you need help from others. Satan is zapping your joy from you, because he's miserable seeing you happy. When you have God in your heart, Satan works twice as hard to discourage you trying to win you back from God. Making it through these hard times is what makes us stronger. Then, we get the strength to fight even harder when Satan tries to intervene. May God Bless You Always!

Our Heavenly Father, we come before you today and ask that you be with our friend who is need. We ask that you send a comforter down from Heaven, and release the burden from his heart. We ask that you give him the strength he needs to do your will, daily. We ask that you help him to always be able to lift your name in praise. We ask all things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Praying also, but from all the posts there is enough here to even make me feel better! I think we should all rejoice in the Lord for providing us a way of escape!

All the scriptures are good, very good. We must confess our sins to receive God's forgivenness, we confess our sins one to another SO THAT we may be HEALED. James: 5 :16 Repentance is good and then we make amends for the things we can, and let go of that which we cannot. Be humble and appologize if in the wrong. Then you will feel better, you will be set free. It will make you a stronger Christian, too! Praise God! We must make amends when it is possible and then we forgive ourselves. If someone has something against us, we have to go to them. Then the devil does not have access to us! He can acuse us all he wants, we are covered by the Blood of Jesus. PRAISE THE LORD!

Hi lil brother,, don't you know that it's not God stealing your joy?,,, He said to ask for forgiveness,, NOT beg,,, When you have asked for true forgiveness from Jesus,, he does it... THE END<< all said and done... you don't have to go back and ponder,,,, that's the enemy accusing you,,, and as for forward,, God does NOT want you to worry about one little thing,, ALL He wants from you,, is to look up and trust Him,, and be happy,,, "Happy are the people whose God is the Lord",, "Thou wilt keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee" "Plenteous in mercy,, READY to forgive" can you imagine God wringing His hands worrying,,, NO WAY,, what a mess we would be in,,, be of good comfort,, GOD loves you!! And HE does what HE said HE would do,,, love you in the Lord,,, Faye

Dear Lord,, thank you for this day,, our health and our lives,, thank you ever so much for your tendermercies... thank you for hearing my brother's prayers,, thank you for your forgiveness.. just because he doesn't "FEEL" forgiven,, has nothing to do with it... bless him with your understanding... comfort him and bless him with your peace,,, the enemy is a liar and father of all lies,,, I pray these lies will be exposed and your child will have a greater walk with more wisdom than before.. Thank you Lord,, for we call it done, In Jesus Name,, Amen

theforgiven,
God bless them with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Give them a peace in their heart and mind. God let them know that once they ask you to forgive them that you no longer remember their sin. God don't let them worry about the past. Satan take your hands off from them in the mighty name of Jesus. . Every time satan reminds you of your past remind him of his future.

This is the real battle: of the mind. If the devil gets you to doubt or disbeleive God, then he's won.
2 Cor. 5:17: ""Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things are passed..."

Anything new doesn't have a past right :). Don't give in to your past because God doesn't either.
Read God's word and promises often, keep them at your fingertips and those thoughts will have no place in your mind.

Father, give him the grace to recognize the victory you won for us already, over guilt and the world. Let him accept your forgiveness. Encourage and strengthen him today in Jesus name, amen.
