Need SDA to defend itself in Christian Apologetics

Will someone please go to Christian apolgogetics and refute the lies going on there. I am not a SDA.

Would be great to see someone straighten out the beliefs of an sda.

Just saw a horrible post there.

I don't know. Why bother? It most often leads to fruitless arguments. Others may feel otherwise. But...

Didn't Jesus say you will be hated by all men for my sake? Anyone can have their own opinions. But there's only one that I care about.

Well, they don't know what you beleive, but I don't believe what she has written. I don't think it's a matter of what you say. If you believe in Jesus for salvation then someone ought to tell them. I really don't know what you believe, but I've met SDA's and talked with them and was assured that they believe in Christ for salvation and we had our differences on some things, but nothing life shattering.

Hey, that's ok. No worries. There are people that are subjective with open mind. Then there are people that aren't.

I've had long debates with people of other denominations on controversial topics. I've found out very often 'less is more'.

Anyways, God bless! Come back here more often for fellowship.

Thanks to tapero for her concern.

I checked out the apologetics forum she brought to our attention. The thread starts out " I would like everyone's take on the 7th Day Adventists.." Doesn't sound like a group that is open to a serious discussion of doctrine with brotherly kindness.

The thread continues with false presentations of SDA beliefs and also calls the SDA church a cult. They then proceed to attack Ellen White. This is a ploy that Satan uses. If he cannot attack the message, he focuses his attack on the messenger. What better way to discredit the issue by diverting attention to the messenger.

It makes me sad to see christians argue amongst themselves. Of all people, christians should be able to come together and reason together with kindness.

Hi Tapero

I am gald you were concerned enough to bring this to our attention.

But as some has suggested going into battle head on may not be the best way to answer this problem.

It sure does hurt to see people who want to attack just for the sake of attacking.

If anyone has a concern about the SDA Church they could come here and ask as I think that at least they would get an answer.

You are always welcome to come along here and share any concerns you have.

Welcome tapero to the Seventh-day Adventist forum! lol..thanks for your concern..it's much appreciated. It's not uncommon to see attacks against Adventist beliefs online and i'm already used to it. Initially i was angered and got into discussions but i soon learnt that it was futile unless the recipient has an open heart. That said, we should do more encouraging and forming relationships than discouraging and destroying relationships.

Tapero, I was there, and the only thing that I did was to mention the BIble, about the Ten Commandments, the fourth commandments, what means to be under the law, what is grace, what means "by faith alone" etc. all that I share with them with love, what I get? they not only insult me, but insult my denomination, no, I will not go there anymore; we can share our believes, but not argue the word of God.
I will never recomend that site.
