Yeah he's pretty amazing. I can't remember how I came to find him but his voice melts me.

I think you should try out Sufjan Stevens... Initially you might not like him, but at least listen to him a few times before totally deciding. It took me a long time before I really "got" him... but now, he's absolutly one of my favorite artists. Rumors are he's a Christian but I've never read anything that has confirmed/denied it (at least nothing coming straight from him).
