Need help with Film Production

I am trying to get a film production going for my youth group, so that we can use it as an outreach tool to attract people in about 1 years time. I need some ideas as to what scripts to use, ideas for storylines, etc. Anyone want to help me? I need something touching, something that people can relate to, something that will make people cry. I want to touch as many people as possible, something that will bring people to Christ. Help me guys and gals. Thanks.

Well why not not go for tear-jerker... what about just seeing where the creativity of the group leads you? maybe humor will be a key... or drama. It depends on what topic you're covering.

Ill prob go with / a teen of christian parents walks and unchristians life cuzz there alone in life no one understands them..so they live this none christians life she/he trys everything in life goes to jail, but once she/he gets out of jail..they have to do commutiy service..like go to eldery home and they partner her/him with this old lady and that lady totally understands this teen...so they have this strong bond...so that teen helps her around the room like stacking sum books then finds a bible../
so anyways basicly she finds god thru that old lady..that old lady becomes her friend/parent/mentor
so the point of this story I just madeup is if you feel alone heres always somone out there who will understands you but there not gonna live forever..but God does..live forever and ever/

Something to think about: WHO is your audience? (If your audience is non-believers, I would carefully think about what you want to present. I work in youth outreach ministry and we have two differnet videos: one for Christian audience and one for non-Christian audience.)
WHAT do you have to offer? WHAT is going to change their lives? HOW are you going to do it?
I think doing a video is very hard to attract people to your ministry, to be honest, particularly if you are in a church. Your best bet?? Engaging your youth to go do the 'inviting'. Their personal experiences and contact is going to be more effective than a video. Our ministry is successful BECAUSE of this.

I was surprised at the amount of replies. As for your input, I actually already considered that. We are currently sharing personal experience and contact, but we want to use a video as well for an upcoming coffee house/praise and worship event (13 months away). So, our audience would be both Believers and Non-believers really. So, I am trying to write something that would encompass the elements that will touch and captivate both. Please keep the inputs coming, afterall, we all want to do our best when working for God

By the way, I like that whole mischief teen with the whole messed up life then finally meeting someone that understands. LOL

I found myself 2 very high quality DVs, and I myself can do a bit of editing and has a few friends that can, and yeah, lots of people who can be actors in our lil production, so all I am missing is a real good plot and theme and how to bring out certain messages. Let me know if you got more ideas. Love you guys tons
