need help finding a game

back in the good ol days of high school, i used to play an onlie game to pass the time and now i can remember the name, but since im back in school i need to find it again. lest i start actually excelling in academics

it was a multiplayer online game where you choose a difficulty level and a 'city' and given some cash. from this you start buying property and building stores and resaurants and clubs to earn profit. which you then spend on cherry bombs, to blow up other peoples property and take it over to build even more, etc.

it was a really simple game, you dont have a character or anything just a gridlike map with really simple terrain and buildings and so on. its also a free online game, you dont need a subscription or anything its all just played on the website. I want to say its called metropolis, but thats not it, unless the site went offline or changed name

if anyone knows the game im talking about or a way to find it any help is good

well,that sounds like a new game that is out.Not sure on that game.Don't play many online games.Do you remember the site it was at.?

no its definitely not new, i must have stopped playing it 2-3 years ago. i dont remember the site and ive been googling any that come to mind, but nothing.

im starting to wonder if it was shut down or something.
