Need Advice [moved from CF How-To?]

My husband and I have been praying that we find a better place to raise our kids. We are living in Southern Cal right now. We would like to find a city that is less expensive then here in Orange county. We want to be able to find a area that is family centered, nice weather (here in orange county we dont really get true seasons) A city that is not too big yet isnt too small. We are thinking up north somewhere. Can anyone sugest any where that is good for us to move.
