I was interested in learning more about another religion (Baha'i) so I posted in Non-Christian Spirituality about it. After some discussion, somebody posted this:
I need to study this. I always wondered if God showed himself to the people in a way that they needed. Different people see different parts of God.
This is how I responded, and I wondered, did I say the right thing? She was agnostic and I wanted to encourage her in finding faith in God, but at the same time was I too relativistic? Please help me remedy this situation.
Hmm. May God grant you peace, Sheseala. Although I really can't support anything against what I believe to be the truth, I often wonder if people are better off believing and worshipping him faithfully the "wrong way" than not at all. The view of the Catholic church and many other Christians seem to support this thought (Many faithful of other religions seem to have greater faith and follow my God more fully than those who claim to followers in the path of Y'shua/Jesus/Isa). However, Baha'i has nothing more to offer me than Christianity, so I'm gonna pass.
