Well the dub voice list is out!
And here's a link, look for "Official dubbed Naruto voice actor list revealed".
www.narutofan.com

There is also a sample that you can listen to of the voice for Naruto himself. Just like in Japan, it's a woman but the sample shows off her many voice talents. (Meaning every voice heard is hers.) Maile Flanagan.

I couldn't find the link to his actual voice but, out of all of those heard on her samples, I hope, no no, I PRAY Naruto's voice is not close to any of them. Those voices were all annoying as heck.

Actually, listening to that the second time through, the voices are hilariously annoying. I would laugh at them if I saw them in the shows. Meh, I've never been partial to most voice actors voices though.

Well it's mostly showing off her ability to sound like an actual 12 yr. old boy.
I doubt any of those are really going to be Naruto's voice.

Maile mostly just does kid shows, and movies (Which explains the extremely annoying voices) that children love.

But this group is the same group that dubbed Inu Yasha... I liked the voices done for that anime, so my opinion is that Naruto will be fine... ofcourse, I always prefer the japanese versions, but hey, what can ya do when the majority of the Naruto fans are gonna be those who've already seen and heard the original :S

XD Those of us who've already been watching the series are gonna be info spots for those who just now start watching it when it airs in America XD\
"Wow!! What happens next!!??"
"Well y'see....."

148 episodes so far each at around 20 minutes, gives you 49 1/3 hours straight.

Haha but counting the ads between the shows when they air them on tv. My bad, totally bad at math.

I wish Naruto was bigger in the US then it is now.

Only Animes that "normal" people know of are like Inuyasha Trigun and Full Metal Alchemist. And while I like all three of them a lot, I just wish Anime would really catch on here ya know?

XD Anime being japanese reminds me of the statement made by japan..., "We will take over America without firing a single shot!"

In a way it's already happened... (Made in Japan)

But I do wish anime only in Japan were more popular also... Like Air, and Tsubasa Chronicles, Naruto...etc..

I think it will be huge, honestly.. But then again, who knows? Depending on what audience is attracted, kids, teens, adults... but if kids are more attracted, I think that series will go down hill... since they will air the first 52 episodes only just to see how it catches on... But if teen/adult audiences are attracted, then I think there will be less blood editing and stuff...

I can't wait how they pull of Gaara's "Desert coffin/funeral" attack... so bloody

yeah not like I'm a super violent person, but they sorta shouldn't edit it (well to a certian extent, but still) I think that the 4th and the 5th (Im not sure which ones) are unedited?? *for full metal alchemist* but I'm not sure, so maybe when they put naruto on dvd it won't be edited? I don't know.... is NAruto even out on DVD?

It's on DVD in Japan, yes. I almost pushed myself to buy some
It shouldn't be edited on DVD though.. I hope not anyways... In my opinion, editing anime is like tampering with a perfectly good story...

It's like that episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force... instead of blood coming out of Karl's head after exploding, they had rainbow come out Just isn't the same.

Ha ha not at all the same! Hopefully the series will do well in america so it will continue, get big, and so we can buy them (the dvd's) in america! If not I guess I'll just have to fly to Japan and get the original ones!

After listening to the 1 second long, "What is this?" and Maile Flanagan's other voice over work, Naruto's voice will be butchered IMO. The Japanese voices are always perfect and so well acted, there's no way you can say things in English with the same intensity and hilarity that you can in Japanese.

I really don't mind the voice overs *With a few exceptions...*

And recca dear..I never said that Ninjas were scum, I just said the reason everyone likes them is because of all their steath equipment. (But not as well put in the other thread)

Eh so Ninjas are just assasians (sp) but, man, who cares?? (Haha I'm probabally going to regret saying that)

LOL! look at this: (obviously a lot of it is sarcasm)

Ninja Invades N.J. Home
Ben Carrozza

Dose

WILLIAMSTOWN, NJ. - American citizens are living in fear.

The U.S. heartland is under siege by a fearsome and invisible enemy that strikes with potentially devastating fury and without any warning at all. An enemy who has been trained to blend seamlessly into their surroundings and whose murderous training is rooted in a spiritual belief hundreds of years old.

That enemy is the ruthless and mysterious ninja.

They have struck yet again. Police in Gloucester County, New Jersey, are on the lookout for a suspect who broke into a home early Wednesday wearing a ninja suit.

Officials say the armed man cut the phone line to a Williamstown home, entered the residence, and then tied up the male owner.

The ninja got away with the victim’s wallet and a change jar. The wallet was later found on a nearby jogging path.

Police were able to recover fingerprints from the door of the home and other objects.

Detectives are currently undergoing rigorous training at a secret mountain fortress in order to raid the ninja stronghold and make it safely through its five distinct trap-and-ninja laden levels. Police strategists conjecture that the strike team will need to defeat each of the five masters of ninjitsu (The Art of Invisibility) who are believed to dwell on the different levels if they are to stop the current ninja incursion.

WOW...to think that someone would actually do that...(this is a real newspaper article, btw)
