Name Sac religious?

Hi I am a newbie here! I am 23 weeks pregnant with twin boys. These are our first
We have chosen their names but decided to keep them secret so we at least have one suprise for everyone at birth. My husband and I wanted to name tham Biblical names, but something different so we chose Tyrus "Ty" John-middle name after husbands father, and Canaan-David-middle name after my father. My husband says we will call Canaan Cain for short but I'm not sure how that fits in with Christianity since I can't talk to my pastor (a relative we also want to suprise) about it.
I was hoping you could give me some insight. Is Cain a bad choice or is it ok and I am just hormonal?

I just wanted to say hi. I'm almost twenty weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins. About the name, I'm not quite sure. Is there another pastor in your area that could help answer. Maybe you could change the spelling from 'Caine' to 'Cane'.

Well, Scripturally speaking, Cain killed his brother Abel. So... I have a feeling many would wince at the name. Canaan would probably be a better choice between the two, since Canaan was the "land of milk & honey" that G-d led the Israelites to.
