On the flip side, I think that internet message boards was one of the best things to come from science. I mean... lord, but there's a horrible type of enjoyment to take from places like here or Twitter just with some of the absolutely dumb stuff being said.

I would have to say Mathematics. A lot of our understanding of everything around us relies on our ability to quantify.

I think one of the biggest mistakes science made was to piggy-back macroevolution without conclusive evidence.
