In the beginning there was chaos...and chaos opposed itself, struggling to define existence;(chaos) which is also called the Glorious Light.
From the Glorious Light arose the Unbegotten Infernal Father (the alpha and omega) who was the source and the outcome of the Glorious Light; and from Him sprung the Mother of All Creation called Wisdom.
From Her sprung good and evil--in whose nature is the Infernal Wisdom of the Unbegotten Infernal Father; as in the reflection of chaos--without opposition there is no progression, as seen in the Glorious Light by the Infernal Father.
The Father is also called He who watches over us all.

For the sake of curiosity...Why would you call that a myth? Anything about the beginning (if there was one) of the Universe is plausible seeing how every one religion/scientist only has an idea of what might have actually started it. Greek "Mythology" was once as relevant as christian beliefs are today. Heaven knows if the same thing will happen to it as it did to the Greeks. Believe what you will but it seems a bit ignorant to call it a myth...

I wasn't there so thats the only thing I can truly say it is, a myth. All I do know is that chaos was the womb of God. And God wrapped our souls within chaos(the world) so that we may become like He is.

Technically speaking wouldn't it be more of a Theory. since it is possible. When using myth its condoning that it's a tall-tale not real. To some people (I don't know who) that specific Idea may be real

yes I looked up the definition too. however its connotation is more along the lines of a belief that is now deemed untrue or a legend

It is a myth because I made it up; therefore I own it and intend truth, thus calling it a myth because I don't know if it is true or untrue. By calling it a myth I remain in the truth, of which I'm trying to convey, instead of basing anything I claim as scientific fact which would then materialize as a theory. The myth is solely based upon my imagination and not observation.

Thank you. You just proved my point. The idea is that even the story in the bible is derived from multiple story lines

And yes I know there is more to greek mythology I did graduate High school. But we must start simple and work our way up even then we sometimes lose people along the way

Now start from the very beginning of greek mythology and let us compare stories to see if they're the same story...

Maybe there are similarities between myths because we all experience the same world and similarly come to the same conclusions. Could it be out of truth or do we all share the same ignorance?

I find one thing interesting within genesis that can be compared to greek mythology--the snake and the tree could be compared to the greek lucifer and the flame of prometheus; and how lucifer stole the flame of enlightenment against zeus' authority and gave it to man; similarly a snake gives the knowledge of good and evil to man against gods' authority. What is fascinating is that according to mass perception the snake is now referred to as Lucifer.

In a similar case Jesus crucified could be considered the tree and the word of his mouth, the snake or the dispenser of wisdom. In Revelation Jesus says I am the bright and morning star(or in other words Lucifer).
