A Theology of Works | The Christward Collective

Joe Thorn:
My justification is not only my hope of standing before God, but it is also the hope of my works standing before God. He not only accepts me, but he accepts my works and delights in them, however deformed they are, for Christ perfects it all.

Yes. Not only our works, but WE are righteous before God Almighty as we are clothed with Christ's righteousness. (I want to be very clear here that this is a discussion of believers, not those using works as a way to try to enter heaven by the law, not through grace.)

I do find it odd that the author has tatoos---which he put on after his conversion, obviously. DOH! [You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD. (NASB) Leviticus 19:28]

But as Paul says, all things are lawful (for the believer) but all things are not expedient. :D

At least he got Leviticus 19.27 correct. His beard is massive.
