my "too-late" realization

i'm gonig to make this short and very simple:

sometimes in our walk with the Lord, or at least with me i tend to forget that i'm a sinner ONLY saved by his unbelievable grace. i have recently been hit hard in the head with that fact. the Lord has painfully humbled me into the ground. we all make mistakes...we all screw up. we are freakin human! getting upset about someone's sin is not wrong, but it's wrong when you let it effect you. man, yall...please somehow, engrave that into your head and heart before the Lord throws you to the ground over it. i'm definitely paying for it now.

Just like it says. Humble yourselves or you will be humbled.
Personally if I'm going to end up that way in the end no matter what... I'd rather do it myself and stay that way rather than climbing to the top of the tree just to be taken off and thrown on my face in the ground. It hurts! But if you sit at the lesser seat at the table, the Lord may come to you and say, come sit in the seat of honor.
It's a concept to be recconed with every day. I just got a pretty nice compliment via PM and had to remind myself that it is Jesus in me and not myself that makes possible the things worthy of praise.

Nope - right on time, God's time. It's too late when we aren't given the opportunity to learn. Be filled with His joy because remember God chastises those whom He loves!!!
