Time just keeps marching on; birthdays just keep coming; little children just keep growing up. I always have things I am looking forward to; some being weekly, some coming up in a few months, some in a year or so. They come and go, and then they are just a memory. That is pretty much what life is at times, and then it is all over. One's life is just a vapor, and then it is gone, as Jas 4:14 speaks of. The older we get, the more we realize this is true.
Time is running out. Time waits for no man. It is appointed unto man once to die, and then the judgment, Heb 9:25. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God. When will I come and appear before God? Ps 42:2. But for now, I am to live for God; fulfill His purpose for me in this life, wait on Him, and His timing, and following His directions. May God be glorified in me, and receive the glory. May God bless you.
