Sometimes You seem so overqualified for the small problems that we create. If we would just move out the way and let You take our hand, You can carry us thru our problems without incident. But when we get in the way (like trying to save a drowning person), our heads go under. Oh...You pull us up for air, but we still try to swim on our own.
But please, Father, hear my cry, hear my laugh...believe that when I do all these things, I do them for You. If You turn away from me, no longer will I be in Your presence. How that would hurt me to find I have hurt You. Keep me in Your loving warmth, keep me in the strength of Your arms. Stay with me and be my guide!
See me when I dance, hear me when I shout, know me in my Faith, keep me in Your blessings, Lord. Don't give up on me. As I cry in pain, I know You hear. You show me Your mercy everyday. I am sooo grateful for all You do for me, I am nothing without You! I am no longer alone, for I see Your face, dear Lord...and Your voice comforts me!
