So for those of you who are still in your youth how hard is it to stray away from secular music? I've always tried to ride a gray line of not listening to anything on the radio which is lyrically heavy with sin and what not but still listening to music I enjoy. Before I was saved I loved hip hop and I still do and it was a weird transition my spotify playlists made to stay the least. I don't think there are subliminal demonic mind controlling illuminatic 666 messages in radio music but I do think many of them are made with obvious demonic themes one of them being Katy Perry's dark horse considering she was a Christian artist before she became a pop star and sex icon, any Christian with any discernment will realize exactly what happened which is her Christian album did bad so she sold out to hollywood and to satan. So where is that fine line between listening to pop music that is full of demonic themes and simply music you enjoy that aren't from Christian artists like say Michael Jacksons man in the mirror. Do you believe secular music is fine as long as it is viewed as a form of art and not as an outlet for expressing sin and promoting violence? Or do you believe it is best to avoid it altogether and separate yourself from the world and listen to music that is only made by God fearing Men/Women?
