My Term Paper - Need Some Help

I have a term paper due and need to ask some questions in order to beable to do a good job. My paper is on The Christian Family. I am not from a christian family so I need some help. Don't feel that you have to answer all the questions!!!

1. Are you from a Christian Family?
2. If you are how do you think it affected your life? If you're not did it affect your life (give reasons)?
3. What age where you baptised at?
4. What stance do you take on your children being christians? Give reasons

Thank you so much for this - I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to say. We were given a choice of 4 topics but I thought this one would be challenging. If you have anything else you want to say other than the questions asked please just add it - it would be very appreciated!!!

My answers are in bold:

1. Are you from a Christian Family? My family rarely attends church. In my life, I've only seen my family attend church no more than, I would say, four times.

2. If you are how do you think it affected your life? If you're not did it affect your life (give reasons)? My family never encouraged my faith, but they did introduce me to it.

3. What age where you baptised at? I was a baby when I was baptized.

4. What stance do you take on your children being christians? Give reasons Very important. The Christian Life is the only way to go.

1. Are you from a Christian Family?
Nope. My parents never introduced me to anything nor really encouraged it, but they accept what I chose to become.

2. If you are how do you think it affected your life? If you're not did it affect your life (give reasons)?
It's hard if they're not christian, because you're going to want to ask them about stuff and you're going to want a biblical perspective, and they can't pray for you. More the ambition to press into the word.

4. What stance do you take on your children being christians? Give reasons. I'm not sure how I would personally go about this. I want them to know Jesus, but I can't dictate that they will and they'll like it. I grew up watching too many friends backslide because their parents went from push to shove. I wouldn't put them in "christian private schools" either, but that's an argument I'm still working on.

1. Yes I am from a Christian family.
2. My family has always encouraged me to follow God and always been there to pray for me and to love me...so yes I think that my family has had a great impact on my Christian walk.
3. I was baptized when I was 9 yrs. old
4. I definately want my children to grow up in a God centered home and family. But, however, in todays reality you never can tell from person to person what path they will chose. I hope to be a Godly influence to my children and pray that they will chose to follow God. I will, however, love them no matter what they may be because God gives us the choice and I just hope and pray that they make the choice to follow God.

1. Yes I grew up in a christian home.
2. My parents pointed me toward Jesus at every opputunity. It has really helpedm me. 3. They are always there for me and will pray w/me. I don't know if I would have come to Jesus if it were not for their influence.
4. I was baptized at around 16.
5. I hope I live to see every one of my children serving Christ. I will attempt to show them the light and pray for them just as my parents did for me.

1. Yes, but my father did not come to christ until I was Seven years old and a three year old believer.
2. Yes it did. I've been called into the ministry, and my mom always said that one of her children would find themselves in the ministry. But the Chruch had a huge influence too.
