A selection of contemporary/worship songs I wrote and played. Just looking for some comments, critiques. Most of these were one take recordings, and I'm more of a writer - than a performer - but curious none the less of what you guys think.

I think you need some drums, electric guitars, and something other than a computer mic. Other than that, pretty decent stuff.

Cool, ok here's some crutiques from a music major...

You need to be much more rythmically accurate with your guitar strumming... If you are goign to do some pick-up strums into the next down beat, they need to be accurate and be sure of them, not half-laid-back...

Also, your vocals need to be precise as well, you have a lot of scoop type lines, which can be ok, but you need to be VERY precise on where those should land, as right now they sound like you are messing up a note, and then resolving to what it should have been.

Also, with your progressions. Pay very good attention to those SUS chords you have )(or some type of chord with a non-harmonic tone as the bass note) becuase they just don't really make any sense with what you have around them...
