  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I'm kind of new to the board. I was a lurker for a little bit but I saw a couple people in need of encouragement so I couldn't help but start posting. I hope to eventually work my way into posting more.

I assume this is some sort of way of allowing others to get to know me, so if you must...ask away.

Well, I'm in college right now, so working towards a degree constitutes my immediate plans. After that I plan on going into a life of service/ministry. While I throw the word ministry out there, I have no idea what thats going to look like. God simply hasn't shown me that yet ;) Oh, and I plan on being in a ton of debt and having to rely on God ALOT for money. :help:

My favorite Christian Bands right now are David Crowder and MercyMe. But I do like most other christian bands. I don't listen to much secular although I am into movie soundtracks.

You're plans sound awesome :thumbsup:. Don't worry I planning on being in a ton of debt too ^_^ . I'll keep you in my prayers as far as God showing you what direction you pursue.
