fears haunting your dreams
you're blind from inside
pain flowing in streams
chains binding you fiercely
by things so familiar
no hope, broken body
you sleep, not a stir
awaken, awaken

theyre standing around you
laughing with hate
you struggle in dreams
eyes closed, youre innate
the flames getting dim

then a stranger comes

he touches your eyes
you can see the difference
no longer blinded

its burning with passion
