~Friends~
Friends are angels you discover
when you think you've come to the end.
They lift your spirits when
your feeling like nothing is right
in the world
They know how you
feel even when you don't say it.
You know you can be yourself
around them, and they love
you for who you are.
When your in the rain,
and it seems forever a real friend
rescues you and takes you
under their wing.
You know you have a true friend
when you look at each other and
know what their thoughts are.
They keep you from drowning
in over your head.
They put their hand where it's
needed and pull you out.
Your at the beach. You're
looking across the lake as it glistens
in the moonlight. And you realize
that maybe your best friend is
looking at that same bright,
comforting moon. Time stands still between
us as we stand breathlessly at the faithfulness of God
giving us another day.
As time stands still you think
of what you want in a friend.
You know God will make your paths cross someday.
When they cross you'll instantly know
your friend is true.
For when your troubled or in need,
God has send friends to care and
comfort you.
A friend is someone that endlessly grows
with you and will love you for who you are.
Friends make everything change.
They give you hope and strength when you fall.
WHen you're weak they are strong.
Beyond the galaxies and stars you just know
that your friend is there somewhere.
You just have to wait until God gives you
the treasure of loving someone else.
