  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

One day, a man went to visit a church. He got there
early, parked his car, and got out. Another car pulled
up near him and the driver got out and said, "I always
park there! You took my place!"

The visitor went inside for Sunday School, found an
empty seat and sat down. A young lady from the church
approached him and stated, "That's my seat! You took
my place!"

The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude
welcome, but said nothing. After Sunday School, the
visitor went into the sanctuary and sat down.
Another member walked up to him and said, "That's
where I always sit! You took my place!"

The visitor was even more troubled by this treatment,
but still he said nothing. Later as the congregation
was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the
visitor stood up, and his appearance began to change.
Horrible scars appeared on his hands and feet. Someone
from the congregation noticed him and called out,
"What happened to you?"

As his hat became a crown of thorns and a tear fell
from his eye, the visitor replied, "I took your place."
