We are animals, We fit the definition.
- a living organism that feeds on organic matter, typically having specialized sense organs and nervous system and able to respond rapidly to stimuli.
Your post is thought over, considered seriously, and given due process...however the consideration that human beings are animals would need to be taken into consideration from the perspective of one who believes in God the Creator, and that human beings were created in His image, and what logically follows is that God is an "animal" then, because it is HIS image we (man) are created in.
So there it is, according to your aforementioned consideration, God is an animal.
Only if God is Human, are you saying God is Human?
I guess that would depend on whether a Christian hangs on every word of the bible as literal. Some do, most don't, just as most Christians agree with evolution, so they take Genesis with a grain of salt.
Many Christians who believe in God, also accept well evidenced science and would accept, that humans are animals.
You're the one saying if we're Animals God has to be An AnimalThis is most interesting...
ok, so God would be "created" then, like us, His creation?
Would you care to elaborate on this most intriguing idea?
You're the one saying if we're Animals God has to be An Animal
So if We're human by that same logic, God has to be Human.
No, If We're "A" you're saying God has to be "A"Sounds confusing.
Doesn't it?

Clarify for us.
No, If We're "A" you're saying God has to be "A"
Else we can be "A" without God being "A"
yesDid you just follow what you just said?
It means that we can be something that God isn't.Impressive.
Ok, brother in Christ. 'tis good to know that you are not confused about reconciling our God as Creator with us, the created, who were created in His image.
What does that mean?
It means that we can be something that God isn't.
We can be Human, God isn't human
We can be sinners, God isn't a Sinner
We can be Animals, God isn't an Animal.
We can be XYZ, God isn't XYZ
So back to the OP.
If Humans are in Hell, and Humans are Animals, then Animals can be in Hell.
If you can't understand it, I can't help you.And then there's Genesis.
Is that what you are basing the above on?
If you can't understand it, I can't help you.
It's off topic for the OP if you want to have that discussion start your own thread. I don't feel like in a warning for derailing a threadIt's a question about Genesis, brother.
Of course if you'd rather not answer, it's no biggie.
i understand.

That's nice that you disagree, if you really wish to discuss it further start a new thread.I disagree. The conversation appeared to gravitate to "man" being "animals" and thus sorta' lumped man and beast's together in a "stew" sorta'....
....therefore i was attempting to clarify specifically what you meant by man being an animal.
It has a HUGE bearing on making sense in this thread.
Thank you for reading my rationale for asking you for clarification on what you meant by your statement that human beings (men) are animals (beasts).
