My parents for years now have not been talking. My dad has alot against my mother since she had an afair a few years ago. She is truely sorry. I have just gotten to the point where I could forgive her. But, my father can't get over it and he won't talk to my mother. He has always had a hard time forgiving. I feel that God wants my parents together. I believe that some day they may be back together. But, it has gotten so bad that I am losing hope. My only hope is God...so I ask that you please pray for them!! Thank you.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am sorry that you are bearing such a heavy burden in your heart. I pray that God will renew your hope in Him and that your father will find it in his heart to forgive your mother. Some things just take alot of time. Rebuilding a broken trust is one of those things. Just keep praying for them and pray for God to work on their hearts. With Him, nothing is impossible.
