First of all, I would like to apologize to all of you. I'm sorry that I havenet been posting for a long time, I've been swamped down with homework. So I'll try to add some more posts tomorrow, but my moms telling me to go to bed.

Everyone, as you might know, I am big into reading and writing, and I decided to write a new story based off of about 10 diffrent books and tv shows and and my own imagination. I hope you all enjoy, so far i only have the first chapter done, but I'll post more as soon as I start write it. Right now the working title to the story is "The Spirit Man" But I don't like that title the best, so if you come up with ideas as I post, please feel free to tell me.

Chapter One
********************
Jack Jones sat on the soft green grass, waiting for a ride. As the sun slowly set and silence swept over him, he was hoping that they would show up. He actually didn't know who they were, but he knew that someone was supposed to show up to guide him to meet his spirit self, whatever that meant. He had gotten an email entitled "Jack Jones, meet your spirit self". Jack was vaguely interested so he opened the email and read, "We will pick you up on your front lawn at 9:00 p.m.". Jack glanced at his watch again, to reveal the time as 8:59. As Jack was watching the clock, the time turned to 9:00 and a fifteen passenger black van pulled up to the curve with a gentle stop. Jack grabbed his duffel bag, which he had packed with two pair of socks, two pair of jeans, and two white t-shirts and he slowly wondered toward the van. Wondering if the black t-shirt with a large white wolf on it and his blue jeans were appropriate ear, he opened the door and carefully peered inside. The van held no passengers in the rear, and one driver in the front.
"Get in." the driver said, his voice thick with a Russian accent.
"Okay." Jack said, sliding inside the van and placing his duffel bag beside him.
"What's in the bag?" The driver questioned.
"A change of clothing. Should I have brought something more?" Jack asked.
"No, everything will be supplied to you. Now sit back and enjoy the ride, we'll be at the docks in an hour." Said the driver, clearly wanting silence.

Jack thought about asking more, about where they were doing and why they were going to the docks, but he used self-discipline and stayed silent.

----------
Another time, another place, a skilled worrier sat at the edge of a small cave, waiting to be beckoned in.  Soon, he knew, he would meet his other self, his spirit self.  Everyone has a spirit self, someone who looks just like you, acts just like, but has different knowledge and lives in a different world.  Once in a great while someone would meet there spirit partner among the living, but they always met among the dead.  Once one part of the spirit pair died, the other died too.  When the halves would reunite they would do so to fight a common evil, bothering both worlds, ready to destroy. Jack Jones would counter this evil.

Time for chapter two
**********
As the van was approaching the docks the driver decided to speak. "When we get there, you'll need to head to the harbor. Off the end of the long dock will be a portal, jump into it. When you jump through it you will be brought to the third world. Your spirit brother will be brought there also. There you will reunite to defeat an evil tyrant, intent on taking over the world. If this tyrant succeeds he will then be able to move onto the spirit world or our own, so you must stop him. I need to warn you, also, because you will probably run into your self in the third world. There could be a Jack Jones really close to this tyrant leader, so be careful. Any quick questions before we get there?" Said the driver.
"I got a couple. First, is my spirit self exactly like me? Does he look and act like me? Is he the same age as me?" Jack wondered.
"Your spirit self will most likely be older, act more mature, and will probably be a spitting image of you when you grow up. You need to know that the land they live on is like ours was when the Indians were here, so your spirit self will have knowledge like them." The driver explained.
"I have a second question. Are we being followed? That red convertible has been on our tail forever." Jack questioned.
"We should not be followed. I had already noticed the vehicle, and was deciding how to lose him when you brought it up. I'm thinking about letting him follow me into the docks, then hold him off while you run to the portal." The driver continued, "We're almost there, get ready to run."
"Ok." Said Jack. The van pulled up to the docks and continued down the harbor. It headed to the long dock and stopped at the end. Without saying another word, Jack grabbed his bag and ran down to the end of the dock and jumped.
-----------
The Jack Jones from the spirit world was still sitting by the cave, waiting for the other Jack Jones when he was attacked. A knife flew silently by, hitting the stonewall of the cave and clattering to the floor. Jack didn't car if he was beckoned in or not, he ran into the cave. He ran in at the exact moment the other Jack Jones did, making a very big mistake.

Chapter Three
**********
Normally when the spirit selves enter the third world, they enter separately. This time, with both Jack Jones entering the portal at the same time, their bodies merged. Standing at the opening of the portal was a new Jack Jones. A Jack Jones comprised of two selves. The new Jack Jones was six feet two inches, one hundred eighty-five pounds, with croppy brown hair, and glowing silver eyes. That was all fine and dandy, but his brain wasn't the same. With all of their combined knowledge, some things they knew were deleted. Most of the information deleted was junk, but there was a vital piece deleted. That was the knowledge of their mission. Jack Jones didn't know where he was or why he was here.

Jack Jones was looking around, dumbfounded. He did not know why he was in this barren wasteland or what he was supposed to do here. He remembered the van trip, but the rest was a blank. All he new was that he needed to explore. He didn't know why, but he had a gut feeling to get away from the rock wall behind him. Off he went, trekking into the unknown. Hoping that he would find some shelter for the night, and maybe some food or water. As he kept on, he kept his eyes pealed. Trice he saw the dust from oncoming vehicles, but he dove aside, hiding in the shallow bushes along the road. His instincts told him not to be found.

As the sun was setting Jack was desperately looking for a place to rest. After walking approximately five miles that day Jack found a large tree. The tree looked like the child of a big oak and a palm tree. It was defiantly strange. Climbing to the top, Jack noticed he was missing something. His bag! He must have left it at the walk wall. Jack decided that he might go back for it tomorrow, but that he would sleep tonight. Jack didn't doze very much that night; most of his thoughts were on why he was here, and what was happening to him.
