First of all, I would like to apologize to all of you. I'm sorry that I havenet been posting for a long time, I've been swamped down with homework. So I'll try to add some more posts tomorrow, but my moms telling me to go to bed.
Everyone, as you might know, I am big into reading and writing, and I decided to write a new story based off of about 10 diffrent books and tv shows and and my own imagination. I hope you all enjoy, so far i only have the first chapter done, but I'll post more as soon as I start write it. Right now the working title to the story is "The Spirit Man" But I don't like that title the best, so if you come up with ideas as I post, please feel free to tell me.
Chapter One
********************
Jack Jones sat on the soft green grass, waiting for a ride. As the sun slowly set and silence swept over him, he was hoping that they would show up. He actually didn't know who they were, but he knew that someone was supposed to show up to guide him to meet his spirit self, whatever that meant. He had gotten an email entitled "Jack Jones, meet your spirit self". Jack was vaguely interested so he opened the email and read, "We will pick you up on your front lawn at 9:00 p.m.". Jack glanced at his watch again, to reveal the time as 8:59. As Jack was watching the clock, the time turned to 9:00 and a fifteen passenger black van pulled up to the curve with a gentle stop. Jack grabbed his duffel bag, which he had packed with two pair of socks, two pair of jeans, and two white t-shirts and he slowly wondered toward the van. Wondering if the black t-shirt with a large white wolf on it and his blue jeans were appropriate ear, he opened the door and carefully peered inside. The van held no passengers in the rear, and one driver in the front.
"Get in." the driver said, his voice thick with a Russian accent.
"Okay." Jack said, sliding inside the van and placing his duffel bag beside him.
"What's in the bag?" The driver questioned.
"A change of clothing. Should I have brought something more?" Jack asked.
"No, everything will be supplied to you. Now sit back and enjoy the ride, we'll be at the docks in an hour." Said the driver, clearly wanting silence.
Jack thought about asking more, about where they were doing and why they were going to the docks, but he used self-discipline and stayed silent.
----------
Another time, another place, a skilled worrier sat at the edge of a small cave, waiting to be beckoned in. Soon, he knew, he would meet his other self, his spirit self. Everyone has a spirit self, someone who looks just like you, acts just like, but has different knowledge and lives in a different world. Once in a great while someone would meet there spirit partner among the living, but they always met among the dead. Once one part of the spirit pair died, the other died too. When the halves would reunite they would do so to fight a common evil, bothering both worlds, ready to destroy. Jack Jones would counter this evil.
