my long time fellow camper and "unit mate" died

I go to an organization called for people with disabilites. I have been going for 25 years due to a moderate case of cerebral palsy. Tonight I learned that another long-time patriciate in my age group ( we call them units) died. He played in our monthly baseball games. He LOVED base ball as shown by the fact that he almost always hit them "out of the park" will certainly miss him at the games the first one of the semester is Saturday

I prayed that your unit mate is in a better place with Jesus, and also that your cerebral palsy does not impact your life. It is also very good that you go to a group for folks with disabilities in general. That is a good place to make friends. Here is a verse that shows how God's glory is revealed in your friend that you lost, and how we await eagerly for Jesus in Heaven.

Romans 8:18-19 (NKJV): "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God."
