I have come to the realization that all that I hoped for will never come to be—not in the church, not in this lifetime, not anywhere on this Earth as we know it.

I have nothing left to fight for, nothing to live for and nothing to die for. This will be the last post of jellybean99, aka spidergains, and a few other sock accounts that will remain nameless.

Some of my posts reflected the God-given revelation I was blessed with. Others unfurled my rage at the abominations masquerading as Christianity. The rest were vents of my frustration with people’s ignorance and stupidity. Psychological manipulation, fear-mongering, sadistic humor, misrepresentation and character assassination characterized these posts. In my darkest moments, I used subterfuge to reduce this website from the largest online congregation in the world to the pathetic remnant it is now.

I am a walking crucible and everything that is unholy crumbles beneath my feet. Rejoice that I am gone, but know that there will be others who will come to test you that are not as merciful as I.

Do not let anyone mislead you, for many people and religions will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah’ - the Holy, anointed one of God.” They will deceive many.

Those who lovingly endure to the end will be saved from eternal sorrow. The Good News about the Kingdom of God will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end of this age will come.'

I am sorry things seem so bleak, jellybean.
You are right, all we hope for won't come to pass, not in this world... that is a very clear message of scripture. And yet, there is still hope, because Jesus has promised to return and make all things new... and then all we dream of and pray for will be a living reality, and all the suffering, pain and hypocrisy will be gone.

Meanwhile, whilst we can't change the whole world, we can make a difference to individuals, bring comfort and hope to those around us, and bring the love of God to those he places in our path. Maybe that's not huge and world shattering, but I think it is still worth while.

I hope that you reconsider your decision to go, but whatever you do, may you find joy and peace.

I know that you think you are clever,but you will either repent in this life,or you will be separated from God for eternity. For those wondering what I am talking about,look at jellybeans header & you will see a monk with the face of the current president, with the words "Make me an instrument of Peace & safety" This is what He is referring to in 1st Thessalonians 5:3:

While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
