I too believe it is a fake.Mike has made a false idol of the shroud of Turin. Why? I have no clue. The fact that it is a fake does not harm the Jesus story at all. Insisting that a fake is true in my opinion does hurt the Jesus story.

They had contacts and networks in their ancient settings and certainly were well aware of the construction of pyramids as well as many scientific discoveries and inventions. They were certainly aware of many scientific discoveries in their local context. Hardly ignorant. You should search for historical achievements of the ancient world....you may be surprised to find out what you owe to the ancients that paved the way to where you are today.No, it's neither.
