My heart to Heart with New Christians

For all the New Christians out there, please read this:

You have been through a lot of hard times and heart ache before you found God's love for you.

You're plans always seemed to either fail or go smoothly.

You may have had friends dislike you're taste and maybe had some people who didn't like your dreams that you dreamed very big of.

It's hard sometimes, I mean it really hurts when people put you down or it just doesn't seem like your dreams and goals are happening at all.

Please, don't give up. I know it is hard, but God is still here with you.

There have been many times where God's silent tongue would hurt me as I prayed to him, but his love is greatly shown to you even if he is silent for a while.

So, sooner or later, your dream will come to pass. You just have to live life everyday as God has created for you.

I will be greatly honest with you, Christianity is the hardest lifestyle to live. BUT, it is worth it.

It is worth it because God helps you to grow charactor and grow stronger every single day so that you will enjoy getting up in the morning and going about your day.

We give complete control of our lives over to him and that's the hardest thing for us as people to do.

So, as I close this post for New Christians, remember this final paragraph:

Let Jesus Christ be your eyes. Let him teach you how to live. Let God mold you and make you a Treasure out of solid gold and precious rubies.

To all my New brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, I openly welcome you to God's eternal family.

I read this passage today in a book called 'By searching' about the life of a Christian lady called Isobel Kuhn...do you mind if I share it with you?

"Yes, my master is thorough. He wounds, but he binds up, and his balm of Gilead heals without stinging; it cools refreshes and restores in every part. He gives the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, and brings beauty out of our ashes."

Yes, walking with the Lord can be painful at times. Our Lord will sift you and refine you, purifying you. Each time there will be less of you and more of him. Diamonds only form under extreme pressure; and pearls only when grit gets inside the oyster shell and makes things uncomfortable there. Hold fast onto the Lord and he will repay you. Trust in the Lord and he will bless you...abundantly! He will restore to you all that you have lost and more.....he really will!! Praise the Lord!

I totally agree with everything you said there Noodle. That is a nice piece of encouragement. I seem to fail all the time, but am constantly trying. I especially like the silent tongue part you wrote. I know God loves me and is going to be here for me no doubt! Even if I have to be patient in order to listen to him.
