My first online debate with a Creationist/ID proponent outside this forum

I didn't expect this issue to be raised much outside this particular forum, but on another forum I frequent it came up, here is the thread and if possible I would like you honest opinion on how I'm doing so far. It's a semi-private and smaller forum, so please don't register there and add to the debate if you feel so inclined, but please let me know how you think I'm doing and if there are any other arguments I should bring up.

I had a very quick look at some of your posts. (Too close to bed time to have a more detailed look.) However you appear articulate, you make your points well, and you seem to know your stuff.

Cronenfly looks to be posting a lot of words with a lot of bluff, but little of substance - from what little I have seen of that poster.

At this stage, I think you are doing fine.

Perhaps one critical comment. Maybe avoid the word "liar" unless you can demonstrate it with no lingering doubts. Such a word can be a red-rag to a bull. Maybe better to ask something like "If I am correct, then do you think it honest of ID to behave like this?" It is less inflamatory and gets them to ask the question themselves and then perhaps to have to try to justify it.

I think most of these folk need to be asked that kind of question, over and over - namely "do you think this is honest?" or "do you think this is good science?".

Dunno. Just my thought.

But so far, you are looking fine.
