My First Church Testimony

A few days ago I was up at the hospital ER with my father as he is still in the hospital but is doing better Thank you Lord for answering our prayers I ran into a Pastor named Gerritt W. Kenyon of the First Assembly of God in Millville, NJ and asked him to pray for my Father. After praying for him I told him my story of how I came to know the Lord and he asked if I would give my testimony at his church on Sunday and I said I would.
When I got there he asked that I come to his office as I did and we talked and then prayed before going out and setting behind the pulpit. I was nervous, as this was my first testimony and the fact that it would be behind the pulpit made me even more nervous. I prayed for Gods guidance, but I felt the devil trying to make me feel that I could not do it.
I told everyone how God saved a sinner like myself, someone that worked in the Hate movement for the past 20 years and how I was a State leader for the Ku Klux Klan for years and ran a hate forum called North-East White Pride. I told them that I was sorry for everything that I ever said or did to anyone and that the night I asked Jesus to come into my heart that He took all the hate that had been living in my heart for years away Amen The Bible says in KJV 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. When I asked Him to forgive me of my sins He did and made me a new person. Thank you Jesus
With Gods help I did it, but that is not to say that the devil did not try his hardest to stop me. The Devil stuck his tail between his legs and ran for cover. Praise The Lord!
