• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Well, I just got out of the hospital after the worst asthma attack I've ever had. Had my very first ambulance ride after the hubby had to call 911 for me. Never liked to ride in ambulances, but I had no choice this time....whoopee!

After being poked, pricked, prodded and kept awake during my entire stay I was exhausted when I finally got home. Not to mention my little dog went nuts when mommy returned too.

I'm stepping down off the steroids and off most of the antibiotics now. My body feels like it's been through a war with all of the bruising I have from the belly shots, IV's and blood draws. I guess if you survive the hospital stay you're doing really well.

So now I'm just taking in oxygen at 3 liters with the cannular stuck in my face while moving around the house. Thank goodness this is only temporary until my lungs are completely clear. I'm feeling much better now too.

Gotta say the steroids helped me get my laundry caught up and some much needed house work too, great stuff.

Well...that's been my exciting last week until now. Hope everyone else is doing okay and enjoying the fall weather. I love this time of year, but my allergies are nortorious in the fall.

That's my update folks. See you later.
