I don't listen to Christian music, the main reason is because I haven't found any good songs that I like enough to listen to casually. Another thing is that I don't really like music with lyrics unless they're catchy, I don't even really pay attention to what the words are in most songs I like just that the words go well with the music. However since becoming Christian I listen to music differently, I hear things and catch things I didn't before.
Soundtrack is my favorite genre of music which are songs and scores from media like movies, games, TV shows, etc. A lot of lyrics from these songs remind me of God, the best example is the song "He lives in you" from the movie Lion King 2. I saw this movie for the first time about 2 months ago and when I heard this song all the lyrics caught my attention and I heard them as being about The Holy Spirit.
"Night, and the Spirit of Life, calling" - John 14:26
"And a voice, with the feel of a child, answers" - 2 Corinthians 6:18
"Wait, there's no mountain too great. Hear the words and have faith" - Matthew 17:20
"He lives in you, He lives in me" - 1 Corinthians 3:16
"He watches over, everything we see" - Proverbs 15:3
"Into the water, into the truth" - Mark 1:8
"In your reflection, He lives in you" - Genesis 1:27
With all this in mind, close your eyes and listen to the song. Visualize it being about God and the Holy Spirit. I do this with a lot of the songs I hear now but none were as good as this one. It actually brought me to tears when I heard the song again after watching the movie, it was just so beautiful to me and became my favorite Disney song.
