My farewell

This is my farewell. I'm converting to Agnosticism(Christianity is just too hard for me), and I won't be able to fit the CF into my life with school and all. After posting this, I'm going to give away all of my blessings and then change my faith icon. I may slip in the Christian & Non-Christian sections a few times, but otherwise, I won't be going here for awhile. Ok, I'm sorry for changing my faith icon to post this, but these are the facts.



First off, looking back on life, God hasn't really done too much for me that I can see. And first off, just the things that the Bible says is strange. I mean, if god is so loving and all, then why is it that he'll send great people to hell just for not believing in him? And also, I just can't follow everything that it says, and I just don't have the time to go to church and study the Bible and stuff like that. And I'm also an active member in the warez scene, which the Bible rules against(at least according to my Christian friends). It's complicated, ok?

First off, looking back on life, God hasn't really done too much for me that I can see.

Ummm...ya know I really don't want to hurt you here. You do relise that God has kept you from death, provided a way to live in a perfect world with Him, Loves you enough to cause you to know about Him, and is reaching out to you to save you right? I know that many times we don't see things, but it is not cause they are not there. It is cause we walk in our own darkness.

I mean, if god is so loving and all, then why is it that he'll send great people to hell just for not believing in him?

It isn't "just" cause they don't believe in Him. It is because they sin. Every lie, every murder, every failure to live by Gods law (and He is the law maker) has only one sentance. God made humans and when the thing that God made rebells against Him (as breaking Gods laws is) then God is well within His rights to put down the rebellion. Love does not love lawlesness. Love wants to save from death. But in the end Love has wrath against hate. It is not the warm fuzzies. It is a work and action. There is a lot devoted to what love is in the bible. Please check it out.

That is why these "great" people doom them own selves. But God provided a way of escape for them. That is why Jesus came and gave His own blood for us. So that the punishment God would have given us fell on Him who was willing for it to be done. So that our debt would be paid.

Those who have not heard of Him are not sent to hell for not believing on Him whom they have not heard of. But God has given all men a conscience. And those who have not heard are judged by the law writen in their own hearts.

And also, I just can't follow everything that it says, and I just don't have the time to go to church and study the Bible and stuff like that.

What does it say? It says believe with all your heart that Jesus came and died for you and rose again from the dead. It says follow Him. Yes it says that you should reframe from sin, but show me one christian who can do that in their flesh. It can't be done. Thats the whole point! In our flesh we can not follow Gods laws. All we have to do is try to bring our bodies under disiplen. Some times we fail, some times we don't. But if you love God (and if you would be saved from death and destruction, if you have your sins forgiven and shame taken away, you would have no choice but to love God) you will at least want to follow Him.

And I'm also an active member in the warez scene, which the Bible rules against(at least according to my Christian friends). It's complicated, ok?

Not so very complicated. You are at a point of having to deside.
1: Give up the world and life you knew to gain a new better one you will never lose.
OR
2: Go after all the pleasure this world can offer and lose your soul in the end.

The choice is yours. I hope ya make the right one friend.

It really makes me upset to see people give up because they havent see God do anything for them. How about instead of asking what has God done for me ask what have I done for God.
