my family have asked me to leave home, please pray

Monday/Tuesday I leave home because my parents have asked me to.

I left The Jehovah's Witnesses and since then my dad has stepped down as elder and now realises I wont return.

To protect my brother and his position and stance with his beliefs, my family asked me to leave the home.

Although I am set up at uni in the accomodation there it is a major move for me, a very trying time.

Please pray for my direction, for peace and for a place to worship.

Keep going in the faith, brother. I am sorry to hear that you are no longer living with your family, but keep Jeremiah 29:11-12 in mind. It is a promise from our Father. I pray that you be held in the shelter of the Most High God, be kept in the shadow of his wing. May he raise you up to be a might Man of God, following his laws and precepts always, staying close to the heart of God. I have been in a similar situation in my life, as far as leaving home goes, but I have found God is faithful. He will never leave you or forsake you. Brother, I've been there (I was Mormon though) and Jesus has brought me through victoriously as I am sure He will do for you. I know the road wil seem more than you can handle at times and you will feel as though you are all alone. Satan wants nothing more than for you to believe this and for you to give up on everything. CAUTION: DON'T LET HIM WIN!
You will never be alone Jesus will be with you always and our prayers too. At the end of the road you will see that just like in "Footprints in the Sand" Jesus was carrying you. I couldn't trust anyone when they told me about God so what I did is start reading the scriptures in the Bible and seeking God for myself and the one evening after a major cleanup of myself and my house God revealed Himself to me and I've never been the same and He can do that for you if you trust Him and continue to seek His face. I'm sure I can speak for all the others here, you'll be in our prayers, along with your family and your girlfriend.
"SonOfThunder" if you haven't already - please forgive them. If you can't ask God to help you see them through His eyes and it will come in time. Remember Jesus said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Forgive so showers of blessings can fall upon you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation.

I noticed you're Aussie too. I'm in Sydney, where R U?

Anyway, I believe that God will fully provide for you, just as He has done for me.

I was kicked out a few times. I ended up couch surfing, in refuges, then dodgy sharehouses with dodgy people. But God has fully protected and guided me, even when i walked away from Him. If life was based on circumstance and the things of the world, i would have been dead by now (i'm 22). But praise God the whole way, for His name is Jehovah Jirah, God the Provider (i think that's how u spell it). He provides for the sparrows, how much then will he provide for you!!

And blessed are those who are persecuted in His name!! It's a really weird concept when ur in the midst of it, but thank God for the truth!

If you're in Sydney and need a bed, i can recommend a refuges, or if ur after furniture or help with a feed or bills, i can give U some referals if u want.

I will definately be praying for you, and also that you're family becomes saved and sees and hears the truth and that they have the courage to pursue it!!
