  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just wanted to write in a little something about my 7 year old dog Daisy. She is the cutest little dog, an eskimo-sheltie mix. She is really cute, but she suffers from alergies. Whenever she gets food other than dog, she starts sneezing and starts rubbing her eyes on the floor or on her paws. Sometimes she rubs so much that she starts to rub the fur off the area above her eyes, the eyebrows I would say. Its really sad sometimes because she has such a pleasant personality and I hate to see her that way. But I love her so much and so does my family. My life would be so different without her. :yum:

I LOVE dogs!! I wish I could have a dog right now!! I have a kitten though, and she is THE sweetest ever!! She likes to sit in the shower in between the shower curtain and shower liner so she doesn't get wet! She also likes to play underneath the covers of my bed, lol. She's SO cute! :D

I hope Daisy starts feeling better soon! I'd definitely try to keep her away from anything but dog food! :) She sounds like the cutest mix!! I love mixes! They are the best!!

Hey Mark.

I've dealt with a few dogs that have allergy issues.. You can simply give her a dose of Benadryl (Childrens Non drowsy Bubble Gum Falvor). Depending on her size id say a couple tablesspoons.
It is totaly safe, ive used it on my pomeranian and a german shep.

You can also try Chlorpheniramine (4mg.) Its just an allergy pill for dogs you can get this at your vets or online fairly cheap. It works pretty good, and again safe.

Petco should carry it
just do a search for Chlorpheniramine 4mg

Good luck
