My daughter

My daughter woke up late Friday night with very painful headaches. In a little while it moved down to her neck. I took her to the urgent care at our hospitial early the next morning and she had x rays. She has suffered minor trauma to her neck. It could have been during softball or in the playground. They also found swollen lymph nodes.
She's still in awful pain and woke up last night. I had to give her one of the codeine tablets which her perscribed in emergency.
I'm just really worried.
She's going to her follow-up exam in a little while. It's so strange to watch an overactive 8 year old incapacitated.

Could everyone pray?

Thank you all!

She's okay..well not okay, she still has to stay out of school for at least 5 more days.
What was causing the excessive pain was she had swollen glands and lymph nodes that were pressing against the injured part of her neck.
It's basically just rest and medication that she will need.

Typical mother that I am I start worrying about nothing.

Since she'll be home for 5 more days with mommy, she'd like to join CF.
What's the age limit?

Members 13 and over don't have to be specially approved when registering.

Anyone under 13 needs to be approved by a Sr. Staff member (Admin or Sr. Admin or Founder)...and generally that's not a problem because most of the people under age 13 are related in some way to a current outstanding member. You'd just drop a PM to one of us to let us know.
