It all started saturday when I got back from a softball tourney, and I found my cat had thrown up 2-3 times while I was gone...he looked like he was barely able to walk, and I've found him just laying around. He seems to have no energy, as before, when I'd use my dustvac, he'd hide behind the couch, but he barely lifted his head...
I didn't know where there's a vet open Sundays so I've had to just let him be today, because I really don't know what to do! I don't have the money for a vet as I'm currently unemployed, but a friend of mine mentioned that if I take him to the Humane Society here in Toronto, I'd have to give him up permanently, but they'd take care of him, foot the medical bill and make sure he was okay, and he'd be put up for adoption when he's better...I'm having to give him up anyways because I've been getting more allergy symptoms from him and one of my other cats that I'm going to have to give up (though a friend may take the second one in, which I'm glad for!), so it might not be so bad
I really don't know what to do! I don't think he's probably eaten since I left saturday morning, and I tried giving him water by putting drops on his nose so he had to lick it off, so he's at least keeping somewhat hydrated
Anyone know what might be wrong? Any suggestions on what I can do? I just want him to be well, and okay, regardless of whether I have him or not
In the meanwhile, I guess all I can do til tomorrow is just say a prayer for my poor kitty...
