Well, I mentioned in the creative writing section that I had self-published a novel, and also that I had published four more works of fiction on the Web. Well, I like to think I have another talent... which is painting. This picture I am trying to upload is of the first oil painting I ever did, when I was in my late twenties. I drew a lot growing up, and then I started painting with watercolors and acrylics. I always wanted to do oils, but I did not have any instruction. The highest level art class I have ever taken was probably at the community college... drawing and sketching 101. When I was sixteen I took a continuing ed course at a community college for portrait art. I don't know... I just think portrait art came out of me naturally when I was in the fifth grade. I did an excellent still life in the fourth grade, and it was at an art show. I've done a lot of paintings by now. I have tried illustrating my stories, too. I like animation, and I tried to do a little bit of it with Windows Live Movie Maker and Paint. I also love to dance, classical ballet and other forms of dance, and act and sing. I have pastels at home, children's watercolors, oil paints but no brushes right now, no canvases right now, art pencils, and charcoals (which I love).
