My 4d Ultrasound

I've always heard that ultrasounds can bey so very very far from accurate about weight. My friend who just had her baby was warned over and over even as far as two weeks before her due date that the baby would be too big to deliver. She came out only 6 lbs with a 12 inch head. TINY.

What a neat experience though! I wish I could afford a 4-D u/s for our baby.

I LOVED my 4d u/s too. It is so neat to see your little one in dimension before they actually get here.

We didn't get to do the 4D last time, Jonathan was SO busy.... and I mean turning, looking around, playing, bouncing, turning around again... he would not be still even though it was the usual time for him to be asleep.

We did get good regular U/S photos, but no 4D as it required the baby to be much more still than he was to do it at our practice.

I'll second the u/s being off on weights... they told me repeatedly Jonathan would be too large to birth, and I was getting estimates up towards 10lbs, and he was not much more than 9 pounds when he was born (which is usual for most of the babies in my family considering our height and genetic makeup.. most have been between 8 and 9.5lbs for a first and second baby)
