Seens that everyone here seems to love MxPx i am going to be totally un-popular and call them SELL-OUTS!

What are your opinions and do you agree with me or not?

I shall explain myself and defend what i believe when i have somone to discuss this with!

Relient k, Sanctus Real, Slickshoes etc.

Their earlier stuff was ok, I havent really checked out much of their recent stuff, I sort of went off them abit.

MXPX ain't good at all. I ain't gonna hate on anybody that likes them but I don't see how they are CCM or just good.

well they were ok for their early albums but then they sold out to their record company.

MXPX say that they dont what to be put in a box and that is what a lot of people when they hear them say "christian band" they want to fool around some like in the song "chick magnet" they are christians and they are not afraid

depends on your taste as to whether you like them or not, someone whos into pop isnt going to enjoy mxpx, me personally, love them stacks and i think you take what you want out of the lyrics, thats what lyrics are for, there no set interpretation, no 2 people will get the same thing out of it, you can get christian stuff out of non christian music, it just depends on how you take the lyrics, and theres no right or wrong way to do it

I love MxPx, and I don't believe they've sold out. Yes, I do think they've gone to a more "pop" sound and that their last great album was "Slowly Going The Way Of The Buffalo," but nothing indicated selling out.

I saw a video of theirs on TV, and just about puked. They're 128.9% sell-outs. They aren't concerned about honoring God, just worried about lining their pockets w/ silver

their a great pop punk band. I love teenage politics and life in general. I dont like the vocals though.
