I know what the bible teaches. Mark 16:16 these signs shall follow them that believe in my name they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues... Cor. Tongues are for a sign...Acts1You shall receive power After that the Holy Ghost shall come upon you... I could go on and on. However I would like to hear your insights on the subject

Every time the Holy ZGhopst showed up in the bible there was something that happened. Unlike the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost demands action when it shows up, something happens. That is what the Word shows anything less or more is just doctrine of man or mans opinions which mean nothing against the Word of God.

Do a bible study and you will see that the Holy Spirit shows an inward manifestation but when the Holy Ghost is mentioned there is an outward visible sign, something happens. While they are the same they are also two seperate manifestations of the same.

Which Bible should I study? Most Bibles just have the phrase Holy Spirit.

The original Greek only has the phrase "hagios pneumatos". There is no "Holy Ghost" and "Holy Spirit" distinction in the Greek.

You need to be far more careful in your Bible study. You have seriously jumped to a wrong conclusion here because you did not do a little research.

Those thoughts do make some commonsense as an expression defining an OUTER experience or manifestation outside of the BODY to an INNER expression or manifestation withint the BODY. The dictionary quotes "Holy Ghost" as a "spiritual being"; and "Holy Spirit" is the divine influence as an agency working in the heart of man, and the "Spirit of God" is also listed.

I do define the Holy Spirit in an OUTER and INNER experience of the BODY, and it does sound nice for expressing and OUTER and INNER experience as Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost, an inward and outward experience?:)

Try King James and then carefully look at when Holy Ghost is used.

"These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly {poison,} it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
Mark 16:17 & 18

I have cast out demons
I speak in new tongues
I have drank poison and been uneffected
I have laid hands on the sick and they have recovered
I have not yet had a need to pick up a serpent

Perhaps this has been my experience because I see no reason not be believe what Jesus has to say.

I totaly agree whenever the power of God was on the scene in the old or new testament. There was either a prophetic utterance, the working of miracles,Or a language not of there own. But manifold wisdom has many sides. I have seen teachers and preachers that do not speak in tongues yet preach with the fire of God. I do believe they are filled but do not know how to yield there member(tongue) to the Holy Ghost. But the manifestation in order to immerse(baptismos) or fully endue them with power from on high is limited. As Cor. states he that speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself. I teach it like this you gotta practise your anointing. I can prove it with the word of God. What was God doing when He told Moses what is that in your hand. Throw it on the ground pick it back up again. Put your hand in your bosom, take it out,put it back in again, take it out. He didn't want Moses to mess it up when the devil was on his trail. So H e made him practise. So I say all this to say. If you are Filled with the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues then practise your little anointing.Build yourselves up in your most Holy faith praying in the Holy Ghost

A question I have pondered for years.

I would like to know "how limited" these people are though ?

cheers;)
