Since neither the White House or the Colombian government has provided the text of their agreement to resume deportee flights, we're left with an actual video of a flight arriving in Colombia.

I don't know, but Petro was concerned about them being handcuffed somewhere. And if he doesn't accept them as he should he's only prolonging the indignity that he claims to be so worried about.

I do not have the expertise required to castigate another world leader for failing to take care of his own citizens “correctly”, by their refusal to allow those citizens to be treated badly by a nation expunging them from itself.

But how many more flights will have deportees being handcuffed when exiting the aircraft?
My guess is “zero”.

Imagine your loved ones are kidnapped, and handcuffed. The kidnappers say they'll return them to you and uncuff them. You say "I will not accept my family back because they are now handcuffed". Great logic, huh.

Petro tried to stand up to Trump by crying crocodile tears and doing the cry-bully thing. He "fooled around and found out". Now hopefully things will go swimmingly and lawfully.

The Colombians had offered to use their own aircraft to go and get their own citizens back to Colombia, but President Trump wanted to use military aircraft for the “show” of the event.

None of the Columbian deportees had criminal records according to the Colombian Foreign minister:

Two Colombian air force planes landed Tuesday in Bogota with more than 200 of the migrants, many of them women and children.

Colombian Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo said none of the 200 Colombians who were returned on Tuesday had criminal records in the U.S. or Colombia.

“Migrants are not criminals,” Petro wrote. “They are human beings who want to work and get ahead in life.”

One of the migrants, José Montaña of Medellín, said they were put in chains on the earlier U.S. flights. “We were shackled from our feet, our ankles to our hips, like criminals,” Montaña said. “There were women whose kids had to see their moms shackled like they were drug traffickers.”

Meanwhile, Trump continues to portray them as violent offenders:

“We were being scolded because we had them in shackles in an airplane and he said ‘this is no way to treat people,’” he said at a policy conference for House Republicans held at his Doral golf club in Florida. “You’ve got to understand, these are murderers, drug lords, gang members, just the toughest people you’ve ever met or seen.”

I don't know where you get your news. What I've read is that he was concerned about handcuffs and dignity.
