  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Anyone down to talk musical equipment? I think my favorite rig is my Squier Starcaster through my Fender Mustang GT200
Thanks for sharing. I checked the specs on your gear and think it is fantastic. We used to be tube amps only, but this is a game-changer. I don't play anymore but owned a 59 Les Paul when you could pick one up for $500. Several Telecasters, a B-Bender Tele. Marshall tube amps when they first showed up in America. All worth a fortune now....

That Starcaster looks like a really cool guitar. I've never had a semi-hollow body, would be fun I'm sure and it looks great! Nice amp features also. If you've got 200W, I assume you're not just playing in your bedroom?

My current instruments
Amplifier - Boss Katana 100 mkii. This amplifier with footswitch takes the place of much of a pedalboard, so I only have a tuner, looper, volume/expression pedal and one overdrive pedal (Soul Food) that I seldom actually use now since I replaced a Fender Champion with this amp.
Guitars - Taylor 214ce Koa Acoustic, PRS SE Standard 24, Fender American Performer Stratocaster.

The only place I really play electric guitar is at church. I think my amp is kinda similar to your Katana, it has digital effects on it, but Im pretty bad at dialing a good tone. Honestly, I get better tones out of my Yamaha THR5. I think my personal favorite guitar is my Fender Duo-Sonic
