I don't know if Mineral or The Gloria Record are known in the UK, but they are great, GREAT bands, and are about as clean as you can get.

They are both fronted by Chris Simpson. He was singer/guitarist for Mineral, and when Mineral broke up, he formed The Gloria Record, an equally amazing band.

Most if these guys are pretty good. If you want clean then i would defiantly check out Razorlight and Keane. The Libertines as well though they swear a few times...

The Intent are from the UK and so are The Libertines, but I don't know if they are part of an independent label.
