I just had this question pop into my head a few days ago, so I'd like to hear from ya'll about it. Do you think it that it would be wise for singles who are trying to stay content being single to avoid listening to certain kinds of music that are about, er, non-singleness?
For example, I love songs like Katrina Elam's "No End in Sight," Randy Travis's "Forever and Ever, Amen," Phil Vassar's "That's When I Love You," Keith Urban's "Somebody Like You," or Shania Twain's "Know You That Good." These are all great songs, IMO, but sometimes I wonder if they might cause me to desire things I'm not ready for. I'm having a hard time trying to write this question, so hopefully it's clear.
Any ideas?
