Ok, so I dont know a lot about the illuminati and stuff but someone said Skillet was a part of it b/c they sometimes use the rock sign (aka devil horns) with their hands, which to me is not a biggie - I mean I have friends who do that and they definitely dont worship satan, BUT what concerned me was the whole "all seeing eye" ordeal because on their cover for Awake it has one eye. Google SKillet awake if you havent seen it. Should I be worried? I love them so much and in one of their songs they talk about being at war with the world and how they'll never sell their soul though. Someone also said it wast their fault but the record company's fault.

You have nothing to be worried about and you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. Take it from someone who knows the band quite well that you're overreacting to something that makes no sense. You need to look at the other pictures of the album art and try to think of it in a more allegorical standpoint if you want to get the meaning behind it... or just watch the music video for Monster.

I know a little bit about the symbolism behind Illuminati and the right eye seems to be a very popular one. It represents the all seeing eye on the Illuminati pyramid. Anyway, there's some paranoid people out there who will set of alarm bells as soon as they see anything to do with on eye lol. Stars, hand and body gestures are another biggy.

But, ya. The Collide cover is kinda dark alright. I don't have the album so I wouldn't know the overall theme but I imagine it's something to do with good & evil as depicted by the serpent and the angel wings??? Anyway, check out theindustryexposed.com for info on symbolism in songs, videos, album covers etc. You might have to cross-reference some stuff but a lot of it is pretty accurate.
